GM/Chevrolet 5.0 307 Short Block 1968-1973

Description

The GM/Chevrolet 307 had one of the briefest production runs out of almost every single other engine in their lineup.

Originally designed to replace the Chevy 283, the 307 was designed with more stringent emissions and efficiency standards implemented in the late 60s and 70s.

These motors were designed to be used with the 327’s crankshaft, but that ultimately led to performance problems that led GM/Chevrolet to axe the motor in 1973.
